Weddings

Jesus welcomed all, as do we – those who attend worship with us, and those who choose to join us for a wedding and discern more about God’s love which encompasses all of God’s people, despite creed, nationality, or background. You are most welcome! We do encourage those who desire to be married with us to join us for worship when they are able.

Please call the parish office at 860-434-1621 or email the parish administrator at office@saintannsoldlyme.org with any questions and to arrange premarital instruction and counseling with the Rector.

Confirmations

From the Book of Common Prayer:

In the course of their Christian development, those baptized at an early age are expected, when they are ready and have been duly prepared, to make a mature public affirmation of their faith and commitment to the responsibilities of their Baptism and to receive the laying on of hands by the bishop.

Those baptized as adults, unless baptized with laying on of hands by a bishop, are also expected to make a public affirmation of their faith and commitment to the responsibilities of their Baptism in the presence of a bishop and to receive the laying on of hands.
